It would be fairly trivial to add AirPlay support to the video player of TapLynx, but the "wow" factor is pretty high.

Localization has only been partially implemented. Some labels still lack the ability to customize to another language or text.

Enabled the resultant app would offer a settings tab where end user could create their username, saved locally. Then on the Feeds array a boolean value could be set by developers, Personalise = True. This would append &u=username on to the feeds xmlURL from the app meaning logic on the server side could return personalised RSS tailored for the user

Instead of using English as the default format for dates, allow the used of the format for the localized language.

Provide TapLynx in the form of Framework so that iOS developers can add there own features to TapLynx and extend it in there own applications. Also, sample code on how to use framework. You may call it TapLynx developer edition.

If you select the more button and then select a feed from the list it loads up the feed. But if you then click on another tab and come back to the more view it should load the list of feeds again, not the previously viewed one. This makes it difficult to get back to the more page, you have to double click the more button basically.

I can't find the possibility to customize a date format. So, for example in germany we use a date format like dd.mm.yyyy, hh:mm or dd. mmm yy.

RSS is designed around most-recent items that live at unique URLs. I'd like to see TapLynx allow for the item lists to be made up of things not sorted by or attached to dates. For instance:

- top 10 lists
- random selections from a database
- entries in a reference work

TapLynx and RSS are both really close to these sorts of listicle things, but they don't quite work. Would love it if they did.

When posting to Twitter, tinyurl.com is used as the shortener. I'd like to see support for bit.ly and bit.ly pro. The API is at http://code.google.com/p/bitly-api/wiki/ApiDocumentation.

Currently TapLynx supports VoiceOver for only the date headers and tabs—not for the actual items in the article list. I'd like to be able to have VoiceOver select and read those items, then allow the user to have the full articles read.

this should be a full 'tab' in the application so that users can use the 'customize' utility to rearrange the new tab to the front....

I have a tab that has combines multiple feeds. However, I would like
there to be a visual indicator of some sort about which article goes
with which feed. What would be great is if I could customize the
NewsItemList_ReadColor and NewsItemList_UnreadColor for each feed as
opposed to having it be a global setting for the tab
